Writing in Community

Develop your writing within a supportive group.

Workshops.

Join likeminded writers who seek out workshops for community, accountability, and a commitment to the passion. Virtually Writing offers structure and safety for you to develop your writing amongst peers. Virtually Writing provides a syllabus of short stories to read, an order in which classmates can share their pieces and have them edited by peers, as well as class-by-class live-writing and the instant gratification of “setting pieces free” by reading one’s work (voluntarily) to the group.

Contact.

Caroline (also known as Kiki) is a published short story writer with a background in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University. Since graduating she has sought out classes in writing similar to those she had taken at Cornell and was fortunate to be a part of several writing communities. She hopes to share the community and accountability of group-based writing with others and has led one such group in Brooklyn (now virtual) since 2019.
